Pre-Shoot Checklist
Photography, 360 Virtual Tours & Videos
While minor details like cords or small blemishes can be removed during editing, it’s always best to address these before the shoot. Taking the time to declutter and tidy up ensures your property looks its best, reducing the need for touch-ups and allowing us to focus on capturing high-quality, authentic images.
Exterior
- Remove vehicles from the driveway and close garage doors.
- Hide garbage cans and hoses.
- Mow lawn, trim bushes, and clear clutter.
- Uncover pools/hot tubs if clean.
- Clean and arrange outdoor furniture.
- Uncover grills and hide utensils.
- Sweep walkways, driveways, patios, and pool areas.
- Remove flags, ornaments, and security signs.
Lighting
- Turn on all lights (replace burnt bulbs).
- Turn off ceiling fans.
- Open curtains and adjust blinds with slats open.
- Turn off TVs and computers.
- Clean glass surfaces to remove streaks.
Kitchen
- Straighten chairs and wipe down countertops.
- Optionally set the dining table.
- Remove appliances and knife blocks (leave modern appliances if desired).
- Clear items from the refrigerator exterior.
- Remove hanging towels and hide garbage cans.
Bathrooms
- Close toilet lids.
- Hang fresh towels neatly.
- Hide trash cans, plungers, and toilet brushes.
- Remove countertop products.
- Clear shower products or close the curtain.
Bedrooms
- Make all beds neatly.
- Declutter furniture surfaces.
- Store electronics and chargers.
- Remove personal photos if possible.
- Keep walk-in closets tidy (small closets can hide items).
Living Room
- Tidy couches and remove clutter from tables and desks.
- Clean TV and computer screens.
- Vacuum or sweep floors.
